College Bound Safety Tips
college-bound defense

The need for self defense can be greatly reduced by remembering two things:

  • Try to avoid putting youself in situations that will make self defense necessary.
  • Remember to properly plan ahead with your personal safety in mind.

Don't leave your food or drink out of your sight at public events and get togethers.

  • Someone might put a drug in your food or drink that could cause harm to you.

Always let someone know where you are at all times.

  • In the event someone needs to find you, they'll know where to look.

If you are attacked, do not let the attacker take you to another location.

  • They only want isolation to do you harm.

If you are attacked, Yell FIRE!

  • Be aware when yelling stop or help that this may appear to on lookers as if it's a lover's quarrel or spat. Therefore, others may not want to get involved.

It's a good idea to take a self defense workshop or classes at least once a year. Be advised that we cover these situations and solutions to these situations in our workshops. Participantws learn how to defend themselves should they ever be attacked.

We teach these tactics and more to our students regularly!
